Who are you flirting with?

Have you flirted with your husband today? I can honestly say I flirt with Bill all the time. When he’s home, on the phone,.. We have done this for so long that it has become natural for us! Flirting is fun, helps keep your marriage alive and fosters intimacy.

Now the hard question. Are you allowing yourself to flirt with someone other than your husband?

Flirting should happen in our marriage. But Flirting should never happen out side if it!

Flirting with someone other than your husband in time will commit your heart to them damaging your marriage and eventually lead to divorce. I can list so many more reasons why we should never allow ourselves to flirt with someone other than our Man!!

“For I hate divorce!” says the Lord, the God of Israel. To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.” (or husband) Malachi 2:16 (NLT)

Guard your heart ladies!! Don’t all temptation to slither, yes slither, into your thoughts or heart! Protect your marriage at all costs!

If your not flirting with your husband, now is a great time to START!

If your flirting with someone else, now is a great time to STOP!

Think about it! Have you flirted with your husband today?

EXCELLENT post! I have fallen into Satan's trap before and it nearly cost me my marriage.

People think flirting is just 'innocent fun' and that it can't hurt anything. The world tells us that all the time but it's just not true. Flirting IS fun and it does make us feel good. However, we should save that 'fun' for our spouse if we're married. The fun and good feelings we get from flirting outside our marriage is Satan L-Y-I-N-G to us and it is him trying to lure us into his web of deceit.

Please stop and think. Don't let him fool you and cause you to lose the most important relationship in your life (second only to the one you have with the Lord), by giving into the temptation to flirt. Trust me, you just NEVER know where that may lead. And if you are one who is adamant that they would never, ever let it go any farther than 'simple flirting' and say, 'Oh, I'm just having a little fun.' Then you are only fooling yourself and you are seriously underestimating the power Satan has over you, especially when it involves your emotions, your hormones and your innate desire to have your needs met. PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT!

Teresa!! Thank you so much for sharing your heart with us! I love what you said. satan seeks to still kill and destroy. The best way to destroy the man is by starting with his wife!

Thank you for your boldness in sharing your testimony with us! I asked God to raise up at least one wife to share her story. He answered my prayer by sending you. I know it's not easy for some to share a past sin. I pray that others are as courageous as you and will share their story as well!
