Maybe you don’t feel like you know how to prayer for your husband. I experienced a season that was so hard that I couldn’t find the words to pray for Bill. Below are 11 different verses that I’ve put in the form of a prayer to pray over him when I couldn’t find the words to pray. What inspired this collection was one of statements God gave to me in the season I was fighting for our marriage. God said,
 
“You have permission to love him from his head to his toes.”  
I wanted to love him but my hurt told me otherwise. I had only been saved for a few months and wasn’t as versed in the Bible as I am today. However, I decided to push through my emotions and wondered if there are verses that speak to each area of the husband’s body?  As a matter of fact, the answer I found was a resounding YES! The following are the first collection of Scripture prayers I put together to help me pray over Bill in that season. I’m so glad I prayed these prayers because every one of them has come to pass in his life and our marriage. 
 

What’s holding you back from praying for your hsuband?

If your’re struggling to pray I understand where you are. Don’t let pride, hurt, bitterness, anger, or any other emtion to keep you bound. What ever it is it doesn’t have the same value your husband has or should have in your heart. If you are struggling to pray you can turn it around.  Why not start today. 11 Scripture Prayers to pray for your husband
His Head –That he will look to You as Lord of his life. (1 Corinthians 11:3)
 
His Mind – That he will have the mind of Christ and think as the Holy Spirit would lead him and not the flesh. (1 Corinthians 2:16)
 
His Eyes –That You will keep his eyes from temptation and that he will turn his eyes from sin. (Matthew 6:13, Mark 9:47)
 
His Ears – That he will hear Your still small voice instructing him. (1 Kings 19:12, Psalm 32:8)
 
His Mouth – That his words will be pleasing to You. (Proverbs 19:1)
 
His Neck – That he will humble himself before You and be strong, courageous, and careful to do everything written in Your Word so that he would be prosperous and successful. (James 4:10, Joshua 1:8-9)
 
His Heart – That he will love and trust You with his whole heart. (Deuteronomy 6:5, Proverbs 3:5)
 
His Arms – That You will be his strength. (Psalm 73:26)
 
His Hands – That he will enjoy the work of his hands and see his job is a gift from You. (Ecclesiastes 3:13, 5:19)
 
His Feet – That You will order his steps and that he will walk in Your truth. (Proverbs 4:25, Psalm 26:3)
 
One principle I’ve learned through that season is that of all the things I want to give to my husband, here is no greater gift I can give him than to lift him daily before the Lord in prayer.  Is there one that stands out to you the
