“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper”. Psalms 1:3
This is one of my favorite verses in Psalms. As we pray for our Husbands, we can have faith that God hears our prayers. Being planted by the streams of “Living Water” means we receive ALL that God has for us and need! Praise the Lord!! I so love this verse.. It encourages me beyond belief.
We can’t live in our human form without water… Just as we can’t live this life without Jesus… When he is our Savior, He is the Living Water that flows within us.. The more we read His Word, the deeper the roots grow and more water is received.
Have you heard about the Palm tree. The Palms roots go so deep that they are the only tree that is able to withstand the harshness of Tornadoes and Hurricanes. Though they will bend in the forceful winds, they will not break nor be uprooted.
This is my prayer for all of our Husbands!!!
Lord, let our husbands be like a Palm tree planted by the stream of Your living water, which brings forth fruit in due season. May they never wither under pressure, but grow strong and prosper. Give them hearts that seek you and a desire for your word. As they grow, let the roots of your Word grow deep in their hearts as living water.. Water that is ready to refresh their hearts and minds at a moments notice. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!

Psalms 1:3 reminds me of how Christ came to this world , died and left the Holy spirit within all of us so we may know God. My pray for my husband is that his heart would be soften to hear the Holy Spirit speak to him. And he would answer the call with a yes, Lord. Yes Lord, I believe you came in form of man and died for my sins as final atonement and that my sins have been covered with your blood so that all I may do is confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that you are the son of God whom died for my sins. And once my husband knows this that he would step into the role of Leadership for his family and partner up with God to bring glory to God because he is so grateful to be saved by the blood of Jesus and because God first loved him so that he loved. Yes , I pray I can be the kind of wife whom actions bring living waters into her home so my husband may know how much God loves him. Jesus is my living water and because of him I will not thrist no more and I want that for my husband, so very bad. Oh, Lord please let my Husband hear your call and answer yes to salvation.
