One example we can glean from is Esther. She had a decision to make that would effect the nation of Israel positively or negatively. But this decision would also put her own life in danger.
Esther had a choice to make. God chose her uncle, Mordecai, to bring peace to her decision making. In the midst of all this, satan was working to keep Esther silent. Though she knew what decision to choose, he was working hard to steal her peace.
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
Not every decision we are presented with has the same dire circumstances. However, in the midst of all this, satan is ever present and ready to steal our peace.
