I’d never heard this before, but as soon as I read it, I chuckled…with the acknowledgement that this is so true!
Those feelings of being “in love” come and go. When they go, it is tempting to think that the marriage is headed toward its end.
Of course, that shouldn’t be the conclusion we reach. Feelings are fickle. Moods change. Emotions are often at the whim of biology (read hormones!).
Maybe you know that you LOVE your husband, but you’re longing to feel IN LOVE with him again! Ask the Lord today to touch your emotions and your mind to see all of the great qualities in your hubby! He’s not the same guy you married. He’s changing, just like you are. God can give you His eyes to see your man for who he was created to be and enable you to fall in love with him right where he is at this season of his life!
I have a hunch that as you allow God to work in your heart for your husband that he’s going to fall in love with you all over again!
