I was talking to God this morning and thinking about the things I’m going through with one of my sons. This thought came to me.. “If I’m not shaken by what your going through then why are you?”
If Gods not shaken (and He’s not) by what we’re going through… why are we??
Makes you think, doesn’t it! Thoughts?

If we dont FULLY trust in God is all situations, God can not work in us. We must trust Him with all of our being! Dont let things get you shaken today, let God fill you up with His perfect love!!
In His Love
Nothing shakes Him! He is ever stable and ehen we are stayed in Him all other ground is shaking ground. Rooted in Him our foundation is secure and nothing shall take us out of His hand.
It does bring a certain amount of peace. Although, I think that there are things that he is angry about as well as I am, BUT…I am working on (continuously …) trusting he will do what is best for me, AND, "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord"…I lean on this verse, NOT FOR VENGANCE, but more of way for me to know that I don't have to make a move, say a thing….let me rephrase…I NEED TO TAKE THIS VERSE IN so that I do not make a move or say anything! ZIP THE LIP!
I needed that thought.
This week has been really tough and I feel so guilty for some of my choices. BAD choices and have really beat myself up about it. And that just reminded me that it's not like God hasn't seen "worse"…and in fact in his eyes my sin/hangups are no worse than anyone elses. I'm his child. He loves me. He is jealous for me. He WILL forgive me and help me to overcome this.
And he isn't worried about my future – he already knows and he already won the victory.
That really is a great thought. Reminds me of something my campus minister told me once, "Nothing has occurred to God." Somehow there's great comfort in that.
