Since we started the series on reviving our marriages I’ve really been doing some thinking.
What exactly is that I do when my spirit needs stirring? When I need a fresh dose of God’s grace and mercy? When I so desperately need to know that He, the Maker of everything, has heard my heartfelt cries? When everyone around me is getting the bottom-of-the-barrel me, the me who has not been plugged into God, who is in need of being refilled?
What do I do?
I worship. With everything within me.
I tune out the world around me and just get real before the Lord.

But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. John 4:23 ESV
Your righteousness, O God,
reaches the high heavens.
You who have done great things,
O God, who is like you?
You who have made me see many troubles and calamities
will revive me again;
from the depths of the earth
you will bring me up again.
You will increase my greatness
and comfort me again.Psalm 71:19-21 ESV
