342c347abed339ed7715650bf27390d1Is your heart so hardened towards your husband that no matter what he says and does, you can’t “see” or “hear” him for who he truly is or becoming?

Wives, it’s time for a heart check. If you can no longer hear or receive your husband, there is a good chance your heart is hard towards him. Don’t stay where you are.

The following are some scriptures for you to ponder. Listen to God’s voice. He will reveal to you the things you need to know.

“Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “‘You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive. For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with theirears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.” -Matthew 13:14-15

This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of[d] the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. -Ephesians 4:17-19

“Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness,’ -Hebrews 3:8

“And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened?” -Mark 8:17

As God corrects us with His Word, He also gives us HOPE.

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”   -Jeremiah 33:3

We can always call on the name of Jesus and He will answer us in our cries! He is faithful to respond and quick to help us resolve what we are walking through. He is ALIVE. We serve a RISEN Savior!! He has judged our hearts and has the power to raise us out of our pits!

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” -Hebrews 4:12

I am praying your heat is softening. I want to encourage you to let God’s Word pierce you and flood you with His everlasting living water. Look up to the hills, sweet friend. This is where our help comes from (Psalm 121).

Building stronger marriages together,

Cherie
