As daughters of the most high King, wives, and mothers our health should be at the top of our list each day. Have you found your days to drag? Are you tired physically and emotionally? Are you not happy with your self and who you are today?
Here is a daily check off list to see where you are.
____Spend alone time with God. Read His Word and pray. (Get in your Secret Place with God each day.)
____Allow God’s Word to shape our thoughts and attitudes.
____Live aware of and obedient to the Holy Spirit.
____Take time to express gratitude to God.
____Exercise 30 minutes a day (150 minutes a week is a good standard. Don’t over do it though. Your muscles will let you know if you are.)
____Strive to eat a large variety of vegetables, fruits, and low glycemic index foods. Vegetables are not only a great source of vitamins they deliver water to our system.
____Drink plenty of water and avoid caffeinated drinks. Water rids our system of impurities and cleanses our colons. Water also helps us loose and maintain a healthy weight.
____Develop a healthy sleep routine. We need at least 7 hours of sleep for our minds to encode all the information we receive during the day. Without this process we loose facts gained throughout our day and short term memory loss begins to occur.
____Spend time interacting with others. If you find you can’t do this you may need to see your doctor. Share your symptoms with him so he can best help you.
____Spend a few minutes outdoors. The sun is a natural source of vitamin D.
____Keep a journal or a blog.
____Spend a few minutes doing something you enjoy.
____Strive to give your best at work, at home and when serving others.
____Find a way to encourage someone today.
Gaining and retaining our spiritual and physical health is so important. You will find that following this check list each day will help you gain a more happy and healthy you! Please feel free to print this off and put on your fridge or where ever you know you will see it daily!
