Today's Imperfect Minute

True Love Tuesday

Do you ever feel like you just don’t know what to do?

That no matter what you say or do, it just won’t be right?
That even though your heart is right toward God and your husband, you’re just gonna mess it up?
I’ve been there. More than once.
Not because of any fault of mine. Or Robert’s.
Just a result of two human hearts.
Hearts that love God and each other deeply, but imperfectly.
Frustration, fear and feelings of inadequacy can quickly set in.
So what’s a girl to do?
Run straight into her Daddy’s arms!
Psalm 34:3-5 says this:
Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant; their face are never covered with shame.
Praise. Prayer. Deliverance (also known as the answer). Joy.
That’s good news.
Because I often don’t have the answers to all of life’s little problems.
But I’m so glad that I know Who does.
When I run to the LORD, I can get direction.
And sometimes that direction is just to be quiet and still and pray some more.
Knowing that God is involved brings me peace and confidence.
The next time you don’t know what to do, run to the LORD.
You’ll be glad you did.
