Did you know that with every sacrifice you give, SALT is produced in your life?
Every fire you walk through, God uses you as Salt as the seasoning to change the lives around you.
Salt {Your Life} that brings conviction to others…
Salt {Your Story} that heals broken hearts…
Salt {Your Decisions and Choices} that changes others lives…
18And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho,) he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?
19And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.
20And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.
21And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.
22So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.
Did you know that through your continued sacrifice for your husband you season the lives {Other Wives} around you? Even His!
Meditate on this for a few minutes.. Think about the things and ways you have sacrificed? Maybe you’ve taken a stand , just as a close friend of mine did, for your husband in a situation that made no sense in the human heart but perfect sense in Gods. What about the sacrifices you have made for your children. Bill sacrificed his choices when he chose to stay in the Navy to retirement to give our daughter health insurance she so badly needs for the rest of her life.
{Mark 9: 49-50}
“For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.”
Fire brings the seasoning.
Though this Fire is Hot, you are not alone… God is perfecting Himself within you through the fire.
This Seasoning {fire} changes us and then changes those around us.
With each trial we have a choice.. To stop and go no further or to walk through the fire .
The Bible says Everyone will be seasoned with fire and every sacrifice will be seasoned with Salt! Amen!!! Let’s choose to walk through the fire, receiving every Word God is speaking to us. With this comes our seasoning.
Don’t loose hope in your trials. Instead… be encouraged. You are the Kings Daughter!
The Almighty King has chosen to use you as Salt {Seasoning} to change the lives around you… especially your husband!
You, precious wife, are the Salt of the Earth!
